Qualisure Trainer/Assessor Verification Course

Many new Trainers and Assessors contacting The Qualisure Awards have completed only one verification, and some have none. 

A few new Trainers or Assessors may get the chance to shadow another Trainer as they build their confidence. However, in most cases, this is not possible. The Qualisure Awards aim to address this gap to ensure new Trainers and Assessors are fully prepared.

We want every Trainer and Assessor to be properly trained, qualified, and confident before teaching or assessing.

The Qualisure Awards identified concerns regarding the Level 3 Education and Training course.

This general teaching course does not always give new Trainers and Assessors the necessary verification and monitoring.

We regularly receive enquiries from Trainers who are simply not yet ready to train or assess.

Earlier guidance required new Trainers to complete four verifications before teaching independently. The Qualisure Awards remain committed to maintaining this important standard.

Many Trainers and Assessors contacting us may have completed one verification only. Some have not completed any at all in relation to their subject.

The Qualisure Awards recognise this as a major issue and are dedicated to resolving it. We support the development of new Trainers and Assessors in the industry. However, it is vital that each has a strong background in both training and subject knowledge.

This course is designed for new Trainers or Assessors who are not yet ready to teach independently. This may be determined either through the Qualisure Awards assessment or by their own evaluation.

The Verification Course helps Trainers and Assessors build confidence in their teaching and assessment ability. However, it is only the beginning of their development. At the end of the Verification Course, participants receive detailed feedback and a written report from the Assessor.

This helps them grow into confident and capable Trainers who can deliver their own courses successfully. As a result, this process will lead to more competent and confident learners.

The course may take place face-to-face, but is usually conducted online through Zoom. Each session includes up to four participants for a focused learning experience.

Course Length: Half-day to one day, depending on participant numbers and ability.

Before the course: Participants receive a Training Techniques booklet. This booklet complements the formal training and assessment information from their previous course.

Certification: Successful participants receive the “Qualisure Trainer/Assessor Verification” lifetime certificate upon passing the course and assessment.
